NEW YORK – A woman has been sent to the hospital overnight after being pushed onto subway platforms at a Brooklyn station, and police are keen to find the two women who may be responsible.
The 38-year-old woman was walking down the stairs of the train station. Rockaway Ave around 3:30 a.m. Saturday when the incident occurred, according to the NYPD.
Police said an argument between the women escalated when they arrived at the C line platform and one or both of the female suspects pushed the victim onto the platforms.
Fortunately, there were no trains arriving at the time of the push.
A Good Samaritan helped the victim, who had minor injuries from the fall, onto the platform where he finally spoke to police.
Police said they were investigating what connection exists between all the women. Hours after the attack, there were no descriptions of either suspect.
The case is under investigation.
