To trick the breath alcohol test: Woman pours hand disinfectant into her mouth – To dup the police breath alcohol test, a young woman had the brilliant idea of quickly swallowing disinfectant. Spoiler: The trick didn’t work.
As stated in a report by the “Hulldailymail“Means, Sophie Nutter was noticed by the police because they drove sharp serpentine lines in their white Suzuki. So the officers stopped the woman, only to find that all four tires on the car were flat and the windshield had even been smashed.
There was also dried blood on a rear door and a small amount of blood on one of the front headlights.
Nutter’s eyes were glassy. She was asked to provide a breath sample, but she refused twice.
Eventually, according to secretary Alex Menary, Nutter poured hand sanitizer into his mouth to lower the alcohol level.
That didn’t work, however: the sample found 52 micrograms of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. The UK legal limit is 35 micrograms.
It turned out that Nutter was already known to the police and had previously been convicted of four previous offenses.
It involved possession of heroin and crack with the intention of delivering it, as well as possession of criminal property. She was also convicted of involvement in the supply of cocaine and had parole of a two-year prison sentence.
And yet this time too she got off relatively lightly. According to the court, Nutter narrowly escaped jail time because she had used the suspended sentence.
However, the judge warned her that she would almost certainly face a prison sentence should she commit further offenses or break the order again.
This provides for one year of community service, 20 days of rehabilitation and 25 hours of unpaid work. She was also banned from driving for 23 months and charged a cost of £ 100.
