Tilli Buchanan was chased after being seen topless by her husband’s three children, ages nine to thirteen, while the couple were doing insulation work in their home garage. Her husband was also shirtless at the time of the crime, but was not prosecuted. The couple explained that they decided to put on their underwear to avoid getting dirty.
The children reported the episode to their mother, and Tilli Buchanan was eventually charged in 2019. She protested in vain, arguing that if her husband could work shirtless, she saw no reason why he shouldn’t do the same. . The local prosecutor’s office did not see it with that eye, believing that a woman showing her breasts was indeed an indecent assault in American society today.
Following negotiations with the prosecutor’s office, Tilli Buchanan therefore admitted on Tuesday that he exhibited her naked breasts in front of an adult, causing “a disturbance”, even if it is a question of her husband. The charge will be dropped in a year if she does not commit another crime by then.
