Woman nears death twice after toothache causes brain infection

A mother nearly died twice from a tooth infection. She spent five months in the hospital and now she is continuing her rehabilitation at home and has reunited with her family.

Rebecca Dalton, a mother of four, has learned the lesson well, not to take things lightly. Indeed, a simple toothache almost cost him his life, after it turned into a serious infection affecting his brain, heart and liver.

SHE WAS HOSPITALIZED

In March 2019, the 30-something had a visit to the dentist to treat her toothache. While she thought the worst was over, the situation turned out to be worse. In the months that followed, she had difficulty walking, and suffered from memory loss.

Rebecca was rushed to hospital. The scans revealed growing growths on his brain, heart and liver. Immediately, she was placed in the neurology department of the Royal Hull infirmary since she could no longer walk.

The chances that the mother of the family would make it out were slim. Not to mention that she also shared her room with patients suffering from the Coronavirus. Doctors were candid with her mother about the seriousness of the situation.

A DIFFICULT EXPERIENCE FOR HER

Unexpectedly, the patients tested negative. After five months of treatment, a sign of healing manifested itself with Rebecca. Eventually, she was released from the neurology department. The mother has lost more than 30 kilos.

During her testimony to the Hull Daily Mail, Rebecca Dalton wanted to confess :

“It was a life changing experience. (…) It gave me a different outlook on life – you can’t take things for granted (…) ”,
