NEW YORK – A woman was killed after being hit by a train in Manhattan on Saturday, New York Police announced.
According to the report, the incident occurred around 1:00 am on Saturday, when authorities responded to a 9-1-1 call about a person who had been hit by a train on line 2. This when the subway was arriving at the 96th Street and Broadway station in Manhattan.
Upon arrival, the uniformed officers found a 32-year-old woman under the train and unconscious. Paramedics arrived on the scene and declared the woman dead at the scene.
The cause of the incident and the identity of the woman are unknown. This is a case under investigation.
