A woman kicked and hit the police on Saturday afternoon. This happened during an inspection of the wearing of the mouth mask on the Stationsplein in Sint-Niklaas.

“Plainclothes officers had noticed the woman because she did not wear a mouth mask in a place where it was mandatory,” said Commissioner Hedwig Smet of the local police of Sint-Niklaas.
“When she was approached about this, she refused to show her identity card. She was rebellious and hit and kicked the officers. They had to use light coercion to overpower her. ”
The woman was arrested. After questioning she was allowed to dispose again. She received a police report for not wearing a mouth mask, rebellion and beating the police.
