Looking through old vacation pictures from her trip to the US metropolis of New York in 2019, she suddenly noticed that she had already been close to one of her idols without even realizing it.
When she was walking across a zebra crossing on 82nd Street in Manhattan, her mother took a picture of her. No wonder neither of them paid any attention to the man Mae came towards.
He looks amazingly like a world star – Beatles legend Paul McCartney (78).
No wonder the blonde freaks out when she notices this detail: “I took photos in New York and only noticed when I got home that Paul McCartney had photo-bombed me.”
It was only when she turned around that she had eye contact with the singer for a brief moment, but couldn’t really place it: “He gave me a short wink because he knew that I understood who he was. At that moment I was speechless and overwhelmed. “

But was it really a musician legend or just a doppelganger?
Mae Archie is certain it was Paul McCartney, because shortly before that she visited an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which was also about the Beatles.
But not only the TikToker was shocked by her discovery. One user wrote in the comment column: “Are you kidding me ??? Paul McCartney is passing you by?” Another commented, “How on earth did you not recognize him ?! I’m super jealous.”
Others felt reminded by the photo of the legendary cover image for the Beatles record “Abbey Road”. In the picture, the band members are walking across a zebra crossing – just like Mae Archie and Paul McCartney in New York.
