The woman with the initials PS (28), killed debt collector with the initials RS (35) in Sukabumi City, West Java (Jabar). Before the victim was thrown into the Cipelang River, the perpetrator had time to store the victim’s body.
Reported detikJabar, the perpetrator, who was the victim’s customer, beat the victim and then locked him up in an unused room. The victim was left dead for one night before finally being thrown into the river.
“Yes (held overnight in a dead condition) according to the perpetrator after the dying victim was put in the room and the door was closed. On Tuesday (14/11) he rolled up the mattress and sheets and asked his son for help to lift the mattress and threw it into the river,” said Sukabumi City Police Chief AKBP Ari Setyawan Wibowo, Saturday (18/11/2023).

Before the victim was thrown away, the victim was wrapped in a mattress. Then, the perpetrator told his son to throw away the body which was brought in a rented pickup truck.
Currently, the perpetrator’s child is still a witness. According to Ari, the child did not know that his mother had told him to throw away the victim’s body.
It is known that on Monday (20/11/2023), the victim was reported missing by his family since Wednesday (15/11/2023). Search efforts were focused on the Cipelang River according to reports of the location where the victim disappeared.
Then on Friday (17/11/2023), Warudoyong Police personnel received a report of a suspicious mattress dump. The mattress was thrown away by a child who was later discovered to be the son of the suspect PS.
The police revealed that PS’s motive for killing RS was because he did not accept being charged a debt. The victim is known to work as a debt collector at a cooperative. Meanwhile, the perpetrator had a debt of IDR 3.5 million at the cooperative.
