A woman in her 40s must appear in Romerike and Glåmdal district court in February, accused of having exposed her own son to sexual abuse for six years.
– It is a very serious charge, says assistant lawyer Tom-Daniel Karlstad Romerikes Blad.
He represents the boy who, over a period of six years, is said to have been subjected to repeated gross sexual abuse committed by his own mother. This is revealed in the indictment which has now been brought against the woman in her 40s.
– My client pleads not guilty. She rejects all accusations, says the woman’s defender Dag Svensson to the newspaper.
The woman, who was arrested around Christmas 2021, is also charged with several cases of physical violence and deprivation of liberty. Thirteen days have been set aside for the trial.
