This Monday, the death of the woman who was in critical condition was known after, last week, emergency teams had to intervene in the rescue of four people who were surprised by a sea stroke while bathing in the puddle of Tancón, in the Tenerife municipality of Santiago del Teide.
In the event, a man disappeared whose body was located 24 hours later by specialized divers from the Civil Guard, deployed in front of the area and about a hundred meters from the cave.
It should be remembered that, at the time of the rescue, two people had multiple contusions and some symptoms of semi-drowning, while the woman – who died this weekend – was revived from a cardiorespiratory arrest and transferred to the Hospital de Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria in critical condition.
