The Groningen police have arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of kidnapping a 22-year-old woman. The arrest was last night, hours after the woman was allegedly intentionally hit and taken away in a car.
She was in Doezum (Groningen) in the afternoon as a passenger in a car when she was chased and hit by another car, reports RTV North. Then the car she was in collided with a tree. In the car that was chasing her was the 22-year-old man who has now been arrested. He would have taken her against her will.
The driver of the car in which the woman was sitting was a 21-year-old man who was taken to hospital injured.
Police searched for the man and the woman after the incident. Finally, the man himself reported to the police station that evening, along with the woman. The police report that they are acquaintances of each other.
