Another problem for the quality control of Tesla, after a woman complained that she received her brand new Model 3 with a missing pad. According to April, her car was delivered on December 19, and the next day she contacted Tesla’s customer service department and informed them that something was wrong with the car. The lady even shot a video showing the strange noise of the brakes and sent it to the people of Tesla. (attached video)
From there, the answer was that “Brake sound is normal for the Performance version of the Tesla Model 3.” However, the woman asked to make an appointment to inspect the car, but the first available one was only weeks later.
On December 23, April decided to take matters into her own hands and went to another service station, where they found that there was indeed a problem with the brakes due to the fact that one of the rear left tire pads was not fitted.
After the problem was identified, the woman called the Tesla service center, from where they sent roadside assistance and transported the car to the nearest service center of the brand. Unfortunately, the story does not end here, after the lady complains about the subsequent attitude of Tesla.
She had to wait almost a week for a replacement car, and more than three weeks after the car went into service, the only news from there was that “parts are still waiting”. According to the latest data, the car should be ready on January 19.
