Woman found killed at Hellerud in Oslo –

– I last saw her at 7pm yesterday. She drove out of the parking lot in her black car, Victor Johnson Sebamalaimuthu (55) tells Dagbladet.

Sebamalaimuthu lives right across from the apartment at Hellerud in Oslo where the police this morning found a woman in her 20s killed, after first investigating a frontal collision several miles away, at the southern end of Lake Mjøsa.

– Smiled a lot

The 55-year-old says he has an exclusively good impression of the neighbor, who moved in just a couple of weeks ago, and with whom he was greeted. He is shocked and surprised that she was killed.

– She smiled a lot, and seemed very nice, he says about the neighbor.

The police informed Dagbladet earlier tonight that the killed woman is a Norwegian citizen.

The apartments in the block have two entrance doors: one at the front from the balcony, and one at the back.

– She has sat a lot in the sun on the balcony, and probably used the back entrance most when she was going to and from the apartment, says Sebamalaimuthu.

– No problems

The 55-year-old says there have been no problems with or trouble with the neighbor during the short time she has lived there, or police presence.

– She moved into the apartment of a lady who has lived there for nine to ten years, and who has now moved out of town, he explains.

The accused man, a Romanian citizen in his 20s, has not been questioned – until late tonight.

– Interrogation is now underway, Anne Alræk Solem, section leader in the Oslo police, told Dagbladet at 22.20.

The man’s defender Cathrine Grøndahl had not yet had contact with her client, who has no criminal record in Norway.

Relationship

The accused and the people sitting in the other car that collided on the E6, suffered minor injuries in the crash. It was information that emerged at the scene of the collision that led the police to the dead woman in the apartment at Hellerud.

The police have previously stated that the accused and the killed woman had a relationship, but have not wanted to elaborate on this further, for the sake of the investigation, which is at an early stage.

– It is far too early to go out with details in the case, it could affect the investigation, section leader Solem wrote in an SMS to Dagbladet earlier tonight.
