Woman Found Dead With Slit Throat Inside Bronx Apartment – ​​NBC New York

A woman was found dead Saturday morning with a cut wound to her throat inside an apartment in the Bronx, police said.

According to the police report, the incident occurred around 2:38 a.m. when officers responded to a 9-1-1 call about a past assault inside an apartment in Betances Houses, 400 East 147 Street. Upon arrival, the authorities found the 37-year-old woman unconscious and with the cut on her neck.

Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

So far no arrests or information on the woman’s identity have been reported.
