In these hours, the hypothesis is consolidated that the corpse could be that of Silvia Nowaka 52-year-old German woman of whom there had been no news since last Tuesday and who, together with her partner who had reported her disappearance on Tuesday, had chosen to live in Ogliastro Marina for some time.
Recognition
Yesterday, the man and other people were interviewed by investigators. It cannot be ruled out that Nowak’s partner and sister – the latter arriving from Germany – will be called for recognition. The lifeless body was found in a pine forest, hidden by some brushwood 150 meters from the house of via Arena where Silvia Nowak and her partner lived. Another circumstance on which the investigators’ work is focusing is the place where the body was found: it is not clear whether the death occurred there or whether the body was transported to that point at a later time. This second hypothesis is supported by the fact that the site of the discovery was apparently searched by police forces and volunteers during the searches launched last Tuesday, which also took place with drones and molecular dogs and even at sea.
