Woman fired gun at Carver School in Winston-Salem

Winston-Salem.- A 26-year-old woman was arrested and accused of shooting inside a school in Winston-Salem.

The protagonist of this event is Danielle Sierra DeLeon.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office reported that DeLeon detonated a firearm during a football game at Carver High School, located at 3545 Carver School Road, Winston-Salem.

The agency said the incident occurred on Friday, October 4.

Danielle Sierra DeLeon showed up on the school campus and fired her gun.

Spectators were leaving the football stadium at the time of the incident, however no one was injured.

“The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office has zero tolerance for this type of behavior during school hours and after school activities. As always, our position is to foster a safe environment for our entire community as well as our students and staff. “said Deputy Chief Henry Gray.

DeLeon has been accused of:

  • One count of felony discharge of a firearm on educational property
  • One misdemeanor charge of assault with a deadly weapon
  • A charge of common lawthat is, for going armed to frighten people.

DeLeon was processed into the Forsyth County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
