“These almost had to have been dumped, how else would they end up in that container?”, writes the Animal Ambulance Brabant Noord-Oost on Facebook.

When the lid of the garbage can opened, the animals wanted to get out as quickly as possible. “We thought we could get them out with a safety net, but the kittens thought the stem was a better and faster idea. This also made it easier for us to grab them and put them in a cage and then bring them to Dierenasiel Waalwijk.”

The kittens are no longer in the shelter. The Animal Protection has meanwhile collected the animals. Where they now reside is unknown.
