Woman dies in house fire, four children and teenager hospitalized

Authorities report that a woman died from a fire while four children of different ages and a 17-year-old teenager were taken to the hospital.

Firefighters report that the incident began at about 2:30 in the morning, on the first floor of a three-story house.

According to the authorities, among the victims, in addition to the deceased woman, is a man who is recovering in the hospital.

To him are added three girls, 17, 14 and 10 years old, and a 9-year-old boy.

Some 60 firefighters rushed to the scene and it took them an hour to get the fire under control.

The crime scene unit is investigating the scene but at the moment the cause of the fire is being investigated.
