Police have uncovered perpetrators of rape and murder woman with the initials AW (20). Police said the perpetrator was victim’s close friend.
“One person is the perpetrator, namely someone close to the victim,” said the Head of the Sawah Besar Police, Kompol Maulana Muqarom, when confirmed detik.comFriday (4/3/2022).
He added that the police had uncovered the perpetrators at least 3 hours after the discovery of AW’s body by his brother in a boarding room in Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta. However, the police are still investigating the perpetrator’s motive.
“We will convey the motive later. Three hours (the perpetrator) has been revealed. The perpetrator is not the victim’s girlfriend,” he continued.
Contacted separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Sawah Besar Police AKP Wildan said the perpetrator with the initials A (22) was arrested on Jl Mangga Besar Raya, Central Jakarta.
“The perpetrator is a ‘close friend’ of the victim. The victim has known the perpetrator for a long time,” he added.
As is well known, AW found dead in boarding room at Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, Friday (4/3) afternoon. AW was allegedly raped before finally being killed by the perpetrator.
“That’s right. From the TKP results, it is suspected that the victim was murdered and raped,” said Sawah Besar Police Chief Kompol Maulana Muqarom, when asked for confirmation to detik.comFriday (4/3/2022).
