NEW YORK – Change ended when a woman was fatally stabbed at a Bronx bodega on Thursday, according to the New York City Police Department.
The incident happened around 3:17 pm at a warehouse at 549 Southern Boulevard near East 149th Street in the Longwood area.
The victim, identified as 29-year-old Gwendolyn Guyton, was stabbed in the neck and torso, according to police. She was taken to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition, where she was pronounced dead.
The police announced that they are looking for a female suspect, who is believed to be in her 20s. She was last seen wearing a green hoodie and blue sweatpants.
An investigation is ongoing.
