Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car in Jakarta’s Brother Land

A woman with the initial A (26) died after being hit by a car driven by DPH (64) while driving in the area Brother Land, Central Jakarta (Central Jakarta). The street that was the site of the accident was strewn with flowers.

Pedestrians seemed to look at the streets sprinkled with these flowers. They occasionally looked at the date palm stall that was also hit by DPH.

One resident, Ikah (48), claimed to be A’s adoptive mother. Ikah said A died as a result of the accident.

“Already I want to die here, last night I was still in the hospital, I can’t go in, so I’m just here,” said Ikah when met in the Jl KH Mas Mansyur area, Central Jakarta.

Ikah said she couldn’t believe it when she heard that A was going through it accident. According to him, A is a friendly and caring person.

“It happened at 13.00 WIB in the afternoon, at first I didn’t believe it, my neighbor whose son is a hodgepodge gini ‘Sisters’ say to my son, ‘This is A isn’t it,’ he said to his cellphone, right? ‘Ah try to call first, call his friend‘, ‘yes Pi, A is in the hospital again critical,’ that’s it,” said Ikah.

“He’s attentive, if I haven’t eaten ‘Mama Already Have you eaten yet,’ ‘Already‘, ‘correct, Ma, Already eat?’, ‘Already‘. Keep asking my son ‘Put, Mama Already Have you eaten yet.’ Especially if you have royal money with my child, Already like my own child,” he added.

Ikah said that A did not live with him even as an adopted daughter. But he said A often went back and forth to play at his house.

“We’ll go back to his house and go back and forth,” he said.

Previously, a woman aged around 26 was seriously injured after being knocked over by a speeding car in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. The car driven by a man with the initials DPH also crashed into 3 traders’ stalls and a Fortuner car that was parked.

The incident occurred at 14.00 WIB, Wednesday (19/4), on Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, Tanah Abang. The Nissan Serena driven by DPH was speeding toward Block A Tanah Abang Market.

From the circulating CCTV camera footage, it is clear that the car was speeding and hit a woman with the initial A who was walking. A’s body immediately bounced off.

“After that, the car continued to drive straight, crashing into 3 stalls selling dates and Toyota Fortuner vehicles parked on the side of the road,” said Central Jakarta Metro Police Head of Traffic Unit Kompol Purwata in his statement.

From the photos obtained, it can be seen that the front of Serena’s car was damaged, while the right side of the Fortuner was dented. The female victim who was knocked over was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital after sustaining serious injuries.

The police are currently processing this case. Temporary suspicion, Serena’s driver lacked concentration.
