Sepsis can cause organ failure
Dr. Chen Jinsong, President of the Hong Kong Society of Critical Care Medicine, said that septicemia is a serious bacterial infection that causes body organ failure. Regarding the causes of sepsis, Dr. Chen said that it is related to pathogens (such as bacteria) and the patient’s resistance.
