A woman claims she was fired from Walmart after reporting on social media a mother who shopped at the U.S. branch with her toddler wearing only a diaper in the winter.
In one of the videos posted Sunday on the Facebook account of user Fee Nicole, we can see a boy in a basket shivering as the mercury dropped below 0 degrees Celsius in Jackson, Mississippi, on Sunday. last week, according to information from Wunder Ground obtained by the New York Post.
A woman off-camera can be heard criticizing the mother’s choice, saying the boy “can’t be here without a coat.”
“The baby is only wearing a ‘Pamper’,” continues another woman.
A man adds that the child is “sitting and shivering.”
The mother, who takes criticism badly, continues shopping and nonchalantly throws a bag of frozen fries at her son’s legs in the shopping cart; an action which brings him new reproaches.
The latter then announce their intentions to call the police, a proposal which arouses the anger of the mother who raises her voice before leaving the row doing an arrogant dance.
In a second video, we notice that the boy was dressed by another customer in the row of refrigerators while the mother is fixed on her cell phone.
The woman who filmed the video, however, was reportedly punished for this act.
“Yes I was fired! says Fee Nicole in a Facebook post. I was fired because of the video… You can say what you want about it. At the moment, I thought of the poor child!”
The woman maintains, however, that despite the bad news, she is still “fine” and that her “fridge is full of food.”
