Yunita Sari feels cheated by a sales person at an authorized Honda dealer. Intending to buy a new Honda Brio, he lost tens of millions of rupiah.
Yunita said she bought the car at an authorized Honda dealer in MT Haryono, Jakarta. He made a transaction to purchase a new Honda Brio car with sales people with uniforms, ID cards, to convincing business cards.
Long story short, Yunita agreed to buy a Brio type E which was upgraded to an RS type with the addition of a body kit, Honda’s distinctive H logo, spoiler and so on with an agreed discount. He believes in the scenario made by the sales person because the transaction is carried out at an authorized dealer and is carried out with sales in full uniform. However, transactions are carried out by transfer to a personal account.

The total money transferred to personal accounts reached Rp 47 million. Yunita also transferred the payment to the official Honda dealer account amounting to Rp 134 million.
“If Rp 134 million goes into Honda’s account, and the plan will be refunded in 21 days, a maximum of March 18, 2022,” said Yunita to detikcom, Monday (7/3/2022).
Yunita decided not to continue the car purchase transaction at the dealership, even though Rp 134 million had already been deposited into the Honda dealer’s official account. He asked for the money to be returned.
“The refund process is also tricky. Sales brought two completed forms to my house. Here (in the form) I say I ordered a unit and a booking fee of IDR 134 million on the date I transferred IDR 134 million. There was a new TTD sales arrived with the sales manager. Even though it didn’t happen like that (Rp 134 million was transferred to the dealer for repayment, not for booking fees). This refund form I am not allowed to write down the reason for the refund because of fraud by Honda MTH sales. Just check other things. So I don’t want TTD, and sales go home without my TTD,” said Yunita.
“From the incident of the refund process, it can be seen that this is a genuine SPK that easily comes out of the dealer without the actual facts and there is an TTD up to the sales manager level. So at this time I was only promised a refund process of Rp. 134 million on process and a maximum of 18 March 2022,” he said
While the sales person is still being sought. The dealer has visited the address according to the ID card of the sales person, but was not found. Yunita also reported this case to the South Jakarta Police and the National Consumer Protection Agency (BPKN).
According to Yunita, the dealer will only return Rp 134 million according to the nominal sent to the official account. Meanwhile, IDR 47 million which was transferred to a personal account floated.
“The dealer said that he had helped find him but did not find the person concerned at home according to his ID card. Then he could only return Rp. 134 million according to what went into Honda’s account,” he said.
