Police reported that Heather Stines, 45, was charged with illegally concealing a body.
It turned out that there was a second person involved in the homicide of the man who was later dismembered, but this has not been confirmed by the authorities.
Local media reported that the victim would be an alleged drug seller who disappeared last year.
On Monday, police entered apartment 4 C on the third floor of the building located at 2069 Nostrand Avenue, in East Flatbush, around 7:10 p.m.
Neighbors interviewed by Univisión indicated that the woman was known as “La Güera” because of her white skin and blonde hair and pointed out that she was allegedly a regular user of different drugs.
“She asked me to give her money by force, but I didn’t pay attention, but when she was well she was a normal, calm person who didn’t mess with anyone,” said one of her neighbors.
The homicide is still under investigation.
