On November 22, 2023, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Binghamton arrested Stacie M. Congdonage 48 of Windsor, NY for the class “D” felony of Grand Larceny in the third degree.
An investigation revealed that while volunteering for the Windsor Town Fair (a 501C3), Congdon made several unauthorized debit card purchases and cash withdrawals totaling over $10,000. The unauthorized purchases took place between May of 2023 and September 2023.
Congdon was arrested and then turned over to the Broome County Correctional Facility for Arraignment.
In September, The New York State Police issued a press release that on September 29, Congdon was arrested for the class “C” felony of Grandy Larceny in the second degree. After an investigation revealed that she stole over $50,00 from the nonprofit, Punch Out Parkinson’s Inc. The unauthorized withdrawals were taken from the accounts over a period of a year from April 2022 through May 2023.
