On Monday afternoon around 3:50 p.m., a 39-year-old woman and her companion met three people on Röschibachstrasse by the stairs below the Wipkingerbrücke who were leading a Rottweiler on a leash.

There was an incident in which the woman was bitten by the Rottweiler in the arm and injured, reports the Zurich city police.

Thereupon the three strangers left the location with the dog and went on the Kloster-Fahr-Weg in the direction of the city. The 39-year-old had to be taken to the hospital for inpatient treatment with a serious arm injury.

Dog owner probably comes from Egypt
The Zurich city police have started the investigation and are looking for witnesses. The men are around 20-30 years old, all of them have a slim stature, brown curly hair, cut short on the side. They all wore shorts and T-shirts, and they all have a Mediterranean look.

The dog owner wore a red T-shirt and stated that he was from Egypt and the dog was a Rottweiler. This was carried on a black leather leash. Witnesses should report to the police on 0 444 117 117. (szm)
