Woman arrested in relation to death of 71-year-old man found dead in Manhattan – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK – Authorities are investigating the death of a 71-year-old man who was found dead inside a Manhattan apartment early Wednesday morning.

According to the New York City Police report, authorities responded to a 9-1-1 call, asking for help, at an apartment located at 165 Seamen Avenue in the Inwood area.

Upon arrival, the uniformed officer found the 71-year-old man inside the apartment unconscious and with cut wounds on his body. Paramedics declared the man dead at the scene.

The forensic doctor will determine the cause of death of the elderly person.

For their part, the authorities arrested a 27-year-old woman after the discovery of the body. The woman’s relationship with the victim is unknown.

The case is under investigation.
