The 81-year-old woman from Heusden, involved in the death of a patient (78) at the Jeroen Bosch hospital in Den Bosch, is no longer in custody. She remains a suspect in the case. This is what the police report. The woman is suspected of assault resulting in death.
Police are not making any statements about the 81-year-old woman’s medical background or her whereabouts. The exact cause is still under investigation. This Friday there will be an autopsy on the body of the deceased woman.
‘Melee’
The incident took place on Wednesday evening at the Jeroen Bosch hospital in Den Bosch. A 78-year-old woman died in one of the wards. This happened after a “fight” with an 81-year-old woman, the victim was lying in her bed when the other patient entered her room. The victim fell to the ground after an argument and died.
The older of the two women, originally from the municipality of Heusden, was arrested after the accident. As far as we know, the police had not yet been able to speak to the 81-year-old woman. She is also under medical supervision due to her health condition.
