Woman (31) died after being hit by an electric scooter

French police are now looking for two women after the death, writes BBC, who has mentioned the case.

According to the BBC, the victim is a 31-year-old Italian woman who lived and worked in Paris.

She is said to have walked outdoors with a friend when she was hit by a person riding an electric scooter at high speed.

In the fall, she is said to have hit her head on the sidewalk, and had a cardiac arrest. Rescue crews are said to have regained their heart after 30 minutes, and the woman was taken to hospital and placed in a coma, but later died of her injuries.

The prosecution has opened an investigation.
