A 19-year-old woman was threatened, kidnapped and extorted from a chalet in Wouwse Plantage. This is what the police report. She was threatened with guns by two people and she had to transfer money and deliver cash. Two suspects were arrested.
The 19-year-old woman from Roosendaal had arranged a meeting with a friend at the chalet park on the Schouwenbaan. There was also a man they knew at home. Suddenly, the woman was threatened with firearms by the other two. She had to transfer a lot of money from her account to one of the two.
She was then taken to an ATM where the victim had to withdraw cash and deliver it to the two. And then the woman was thrown out of the car in a parking lot.
Gun and money
The threat and extortion were reported to the police. The two suspects were arrested in the park of the chalet that same evening, shortly after midnight. They are a 23-year-old man from Roosendaal and a 20-year-old woman from Wouwse Plantage. A gun and money were confiscated during the arrest.
The two were arrested and will be questioned on Saturday.
