Woman (19) assaulted for forty minutes on train from Amsterdam to Alkmaar | Inland

The police reported this on Twitter. After the victim had sat down in a compartment on the train, a man came and sat next to her in the otherwise empty compartment. In Alkmaar she was able to leave the train and she received help from the police and NS staff. Police say CCTV footage has been secured and an investigation is underway. As far as is known, no one has been arrested yet.

The police points to the existence of a special telephone number at the NS with which unsafe situations can be reported.
