A strange and rare incident witnessed Wolverhampton’s confrontation with Brentford on the latter’s soil in the FA Cup, the hero of which was referee Tony Harrington.
The referee showed the red card to the Brazilian Joao Gomez, the Wolverhampton player, after only 9 minutes, but the strange thing was the circular shape of the card.
