Munich – Sports director Marcel Schäfer from VfL Wolfsburg has no doubts about coach Florian Kohfeldt even after the 0: 4 at the end of the year at Bayern Munich’s autumn champions.
The Lower Saxony conceded the seventh consecutive competitive defeat at the first half of the Bundesliga. “We are totally convinced that we will manage this turnaround with him,” said ex-professional Schäfer on the TV broadcaster Sat.1 with a view to the second half of the new year.
“We have to change a few things – and we will do that,” announced the sports director. Another change of coach is not one of them for Schäfer.
