DPA experiences that director Wolfgang Petersen is useless. He lived to be 81 several years old.
Petersen died at his Los Angeles household just after cancer.
He is ideal identified for the 1981 war drama “Das Boot”. He was nominated for an Oscar for both of those Finest Director and Most effective Adapted Screenplay for his perform on this blockbuster movie.
Petersen also directed “The Neverending Tale” in 1984, “Air Drive A single” starring Harrison Ford, and “The Ideal Storm” in which George Clooney starred, amid other folks.
