Wolf on a raid just across the border, sheep bitten and injured: ‘Even 5000 volts doesn’t help’ | Abroad

Helchteren – Three sheep dead and at least 12 injured, although there may be more. That is the sad balance after a nightly visit by the wolf on the meadow of a sheep farmer from Helchteren in Flanders, just across the border with Belgium. The high voltage on the fence could not deter the wolf.
