A few months ago, Pudelek joined the action “Let’s make Wojtka influencera”, in which Wojciech Sawicki, blogger and journalist, was the hero of one of our articles with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The 34-year-old, who describes himself as an “influencer with a mission”, in addition to writing about pop culture, also deals with familiarizing the audience with the everyday life of a person with a disability.

Sawicki proves that despite his illness, he has the same passions, ambitions and needs as everyone else. On Thursday, Wojtek boasted of a “new stage in life”, namely that … got a job in one of the banks!
–
Has become! Today I signed a contract with BNP Paribas bank and I am starting a new stage in my life. From July 1, I will change the world for the better as corporate social responsibility expert (consultant for people with disabilities) – informs in the latest post on the profile Life On Wheelzwhere he is already following his actions almost a hundred thousand group of fans.
–
I am proud that someone appreciated my Influencer work and my skills and offered me a job at a responsible position that meets my professional ambitions – Sawicki writes excitedly, noting that in Poland still very few disabled people have the opportunity to perform decent work:
–
Few people in my health situation can say this because OzN (people with disabilities) most often have to work on the lowest jobs. The labor market is still not very kind to us. I hope that to some extent I will manage to change it, because one of my duties will be substantive and communication support for the recruitment of people with disabilities – expresses hope for changes.
–
However, this is a job for a large bank, so my main task will be to coordinate and provide opinions on work on the availability of banking services (processes, branches, digital, etc.). I am glad that I will be able to really influence the difficult reality of OzN. Especially since this is an area that requires major changes and innovations – he continues, lamenting the difficulties faced by disabled people, including himself:
–
I know this from my own experience, because for years I have been struggling with the banking maladjustment to my needs. I cannot pay with a credit card in a restaurant (how can I invite someone to an exquisite dinner?), Make transactions via the Internet (authentication codes only come to my mobile phone, and I am not able to use smartphones) – lists the problems it has to deal with on a daily basis. I already have some ideas on how to change this state of affairs. I have high hopes for the technology of visual transaction acceptance. For you, this is another episode of “Black Mirror”, for OzN a significant improvement in the quality of life. So I go to work, and keep your fingers crossed for the success of my mission. It’s fun to be an expert! – concludes Sawicki.

Pudelek wishes Wojtek every success in his new job!
