Wojciech Szczesny bids farewell to Juventus

“I spoke very sincerely with Ds Giuntoli at the beginning of last season, when we had to discuss the renewal. We sat in a room and I told him that I would retire at the end of the 2024-2025 season. Then I started reading in the newspapers about the negotiations between the club and Di Gregorio and the situation has changed,” continued the former Roma full-back.
I have a lot of respect for Michele. I could imagine a scenario where Perin wanted to leave and he came in second place. After the end of last season, I was convinced to stay. I was aware of the negotiations with Monza, but I didn’t expect to be left out of the project after his arrival. When the deal was done, we discussed the termination.
