The creation of the new route and the further expansion of Wizz Air’s offer from Estonia support the airline’s long-term efforts to provide Estonian travelers with always advantageous travel opportunities. In accordance with national and international regulations and subject to restrictions, Wizz Air enables many customers to make the necessary journey, thus supporting family reunification.
Today’s announcement comes at the same time as Wizz Air’s new period of disinfected flights. The airline recently announced a number of enhanced hygiene measures to ensure the health and safety of customers and crew. The new rules require both flight attendants and passengers to wear a face mask throughout the flight, and flight attendants to wear gloves. Wizz Air aircraft are regularly subjected to the best antiviral spraying process in the industry, and following the strict daily cleaning schedule, all airline aircraft are additionally disinfected overnight with the same antiviral solution.
After boarding the plane, disinfection wipes are issued to each passenger, magazines are removed from the cabin, passengers are advised to make all purchases on the plane with non-contact payment. Passengers are encouraged to follow the physical distance measures set by local health authorities and are encouraged to make all purchases online before the flight (eg checked baggage, WIZZ Priority, accelerated security screening) to minimize all possible physical contact at the airport.
