A letter of intent signed by the parties: economic movements are underway between Pernigotti, who has never hidden that they are going through a difficult moment, and Witor ‘s di Corte de’ Frati (Cremona)historic chocolate company with two production plants in Italy, one in Corte de ‘Frati (Cremona) and the other in Gorizia. According to what we read in “Il Sole 24 Ore”, Witor ‘s would be strongly interested in taking over the historic chocolate brand to enhance it and relaunch it thanks to a completely Made in Italy production and a commercial network also spread abroad. An industrial plan which, however, at the moment, still has to deal with the Toksoz family, owner of Pernigotti, who have always said they do not want to sell the brand. Meanwhile, according to the economic newspaper, Witor ‘s would like to guarantee a small production center in Novi Ligure, also for reasons related to the employment of staff.
The entrepreneurial activity of Witor’s is managed by the sons of the founder, Rossano and Michele Bonetti, with a staff of about 220 employees. The company has a total turnover of around 80 million euros, of which about half generated in the over 80 countries in which it is present. Witor’s boasts a portfolio of over 350 products, in which pralines and eggs, the reference segments in which the company enjoys a leading position in Italy, have been progressively integrated with Easter eggs, chocolate bars, snacks, biscuits and spreads. . fb
