Darmstadt (ots) –
After an attack on a 39-year-old and a 44-year-old woman on Thursday night (April 21), the Darmstadt police are looking for two previously unknown perpetrators and are looking for witnesses with relevant information. At around 4 a.m., the two criminals approached the duo on Alicenplatz and asked for money. When this was rejected by the 39-year-old, homophobic and transphobic statements followed, as well as the sudden attack with pepper spray. The two boys, around 16 to 18 years old, then fled on foot in the direction of Herrngarten. They were dressed in dark clothing, about 1.70 meters tall and had black, short hair. The 44-year-old and her 39-year-old companion suffered injuries and were treated by an ambulance crew who had been alerted. An immediately initiated search for the two fugitives was still unsuccessful. The exact background is the subject of further investigations by the Darmstadt criminal police. Witnesses who noticed the two people described before the crime or while fleeing are asked to call Commissariat 43 on 06151/969-0.
