Jakarta –
Witness told a sad story about the condition of the bodies of the couple Handi Saputra (18) and Salsabila (14). Both were found in a pathetic condition.
The testimony of this witness was presented in a follow-up trial with the defendant Colonel Priyanto at the Military High Court II Jakarta, Thursday (24/3/2022). Previously known Colonel Inf Priyanto et al dumped the bodies of Handi and Salsa to Sungai Serayu, Banyumas, Central Java.
In the trial prosecutor’s office presented 4 witnesses on behalf of Tirwan Suwanto, Ahri Sugianto, Syarif Hidayatulloh, and Sutarmin. The first two names are sand miners, while the remaining 2 are volunteers for the Disaster Response Team.
Tirwan gave the initial testimony, he admitted that he found Handi’s body on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in Banyumas. Tirwan claimed not to forget the incident.
At that time Handi’s body was full of mud. The clothes that Handi was wearing were said to have changed color.
“If (I) don’t forget (Handi’s body) wearing brown pants, a white T-shirt because it has been exposed to mud has turned brown,” said Tirwan when testifying in court, Thursday (24/3/2022).
The discovery of the body was then reported to the local RT / RW. A similar testimony was conveyed by Tirwan’s fellow sand miner, Ahri, although he admitted that this was not the first time he had seen it.
The testimony turned to Sharif. He admitted that he saw the condition of Salsabila’s body, but the location was different, namely in Cilacap on the same day when Handi’s body was found.
Syarif said Salsabila was found wearing a navy blue shirt and pants. However, the condition of the body was pathetic.
“Look at the (corpse) woman wearing a navy blue shirt and pants,” said Syarif.
“The hair is peeling, the back of the skin is peeling and has rotted, bloated,” added Syarif.
