Witness: Farah in Argentina after the passage of the “Right to Abortion” Law

Representatives approved a law, by 131 to 117, that creates legal frameworks for operations Miscarriage Elective, until the fourteenth week of pregnancy, pending submission to a vote in the Senate.

Activists cried with their joy over voting in Parliament, and raised green banners, the color of their campaign, in a country described as a “religious Catholic.”

Agustina Felice, of the National Campaign for the Right to Abortion, spoke of “joy and deep emotion,” saying that she had been fighting for this for the past fifteen years.
