Arsenal continues the process of reshaping the squad for next season. The Gunners’ current name is Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham. According to the English newspaper ‘The Telegraph’, the 23-year-old is not satisfied with the few opportunities at Stamford Bridge and would accept a transfer to his rival.
Mikel Arteta, the Gunners coach, approves the arrival of the young forward and, therefore, the club’s managers are willing to pay around 40 million pounds (280 million Brazilian reais) to take the player to the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea have already indicated that they do not intend to hinder the departure of a possible forward. The club even involved him in a negotiation with Borussia Dortmund to close with Erling Haaland, but it was unsuccessful. Abraham, for his part, dreams of playing in the next World Cup in England and is looking for a team where he can have the opportunity to show his football to coach Gareth Southgate.
With Frank Lampard at the helm of the Blues, Abraham had a streak in the starting lineup, but that hasn’t happened since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel. In total, he made 32 appearances for Chelsea last season and scored 12 goals, in addition to winning the UEFA Champions League title.
