Portugal entertain Croatia in match UEFA Nations League. Shown without Cristiano Ronaldo, Selecao libas Croatia 4-1.

Portugal and Croatia are at Level A Group 3. The two teams face each other at the Do Dragao Stadium, Sunday (6/9/2020) in the morning WIB.

Croatia made a threat to Portugal in the first minute. Nikola Vlasic fired hard from outside the penalty box, but the ball was cleared by Anthony Lopes.

It was Croatia’s only chance in the first half. Portugal as the defending champion of the UEFA Nations League is constantly beating Croatia.

There were two shots from the Portuguese player which hit the Croatian goalpost. First through Diogo Jota in the 26th minute and Raphael Guerreiro in the 33rd minute.

Portugal’s hard work only paid off in the 41st minute. Joao Cancelo tore Dominik Livakovic’s goal with a shot from outside the penalty box. 1-0 Portugal took the lead in the first half.

The second half was still dominated by Portugal, who played without Cristiano Ronaldo due to injury. Diogo Jota gave Seleco a 2-0 lead after his shot from close range in the 58th minute failed to be cleared by Livakovic.

Croatia slowly tried to get up to press. Zlatko Dalic’s team played long balls to go straight to Portugal, but this method was ineffective.

Portugal was even able to increase the lead to 3-0 in the 70th minute. Joao Felix’s turn to tear the Croatian goal from outside the penalty box after using Bernardo Silva’s pass.

Croatia reduced the score to 1-3 in injury time through Bruno Petkovic’s goal. Portugal returned to reply to close the match 4-1 through Andre Silva’s goal.
