Jakarta, Selular.ID – Twitter through its Spaces platform can now be made by all users. For your information Spaces is an audio chat feature belonging to Twitter which was launched in November 2020, which appears to answer the audio chat trend popularized by Clubhouse.
In this development previously Spaces could only be hosted by Twitter accounts that already had more than 600 followers. But with this update, anyone with a Twitter account has the same capabilities and can host their own Spaces.
For the record, Twitter has promised to bring this feature, but it is moving quite slowly in its development. And the latest platform from this giant social media platform is available on Android and iOS.
Space seems to be the focus of Twitter’s development, because this year alone, Twitter seems to be actively developing.
Previously the team brought the co-host feature and 10 speaker capabilities. There’s also the Spark program and a trial of the Ticketed Spaces feature, a paid audio room.
The company seems to be continuing to innovate Spaces to compete with Clubhouse and become another audio chat option for users, especially those who are more familiar with Twitter.
