The Nashville Predators continue to struggle in the NHL. Without their injured captain Roman Josi, they suffered their 15th defeat away against the Carolina Hurricanes in their 26th game of the season.
Despite a 2-0 lead after 34 minutes, Nashville lost the game in Raleigh 2-3 after extra time. For the Predators, the last five games resulted in only one win. Meanwhile, the Carolina Hurricanes with Chur Nino Niederreiter have been unbeaten for six games.

To make matters worse, Nashville will have to do without its Captain Roman Josi for the next few weeks. The Bernese defender missed the away game due to an upper body injury that should put him out of action for a long time.
Ralph Krueger is currently not experiencing an easy situation as the head coach of the Buffalo Sabers. His team conceded the eighth consecutive defeat in Philadelphia 4-5 after a penalty shoot-out. With just six wins from 24 games, Buffalo is currently the worst team in the league.
