Without a Will, Indonesian Teenagers Get IDR 8 Billion Inheritance from British Men

Indonesian girls aged 15 years will receive IDR 8 billion inheritance from British man who died in September 2020.

The inheritance was given without a will. Alexander during his life was unmarried and it is not known who his immediate family was.


Director of Finders International, Danny Curran, which is a beneficiary tracking agency managed to find the person who is entitled to Alexander’s inheritance.

The Finders International team found the facts Alexander Thomson have children in Indonesia after finding a photo at the former journalist’s house.

The teenager, who was not named and his hometown is known to have an English father.

“But we also found evidence of some kind of ceremony, possibly a wedding in Indonesia and there were photos of what looked like Indonesians,” Curran told BBC Radio Kent.

“So that’s where we started to investigate further to find out if he had children, who he probably hadn’t seen in years, but who were still entitled to inherit under the law of an untested person.”
