Bickenbach (dpa / lhe) – With an alcohol content of over three per thousand, a driver caused a rear-end collision on Autobahn 5 (Darmstadt-Dieburg district) on Wednesday evening. The 31-year-old was not only severely intoxicated, he didn’t even have a driver’s license, as police found. According to initial findings, the 31-year-old driver drove his car without brakes into a car in front. Then his car crashed into the median barrier. Both drivers were slightly injured. The A5 was temporarily closed southbound in the Birkenbach area.
