WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PARLIAMENTARY FRIENDSHIP GROUP WITH NORWAY, THEY HELD A CONCERT IN THE MILL BUILDING

As part of the celebration of friendship between the Kingdom of Norway and the Argentine Republic, a concert by the Ribera Orchestra dedicated to the music of both countries was held.

Held in the emblematic Molino Building, the concert was attended by the ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Halvor SætreI. During the meeting, a series of academic and folk music works in string format were performed.
In this sense, the deputy Carlos D´Alessandro (LLA), who will chair the Parliamentary Friendship Group (GPA) with Norway, highlighted “the importance of cultural exchange as a bridge that unites two countries.”
“We know that the friendship between Argentina and Norway still has a way to go where the encounter and union serve to strengthen our ties,” said the deputy.
For his part, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Halvor SætreI, highlighted the restoration carried out in the Mill Building: “It is impressive what they have done to restore this place and to make the Confectionery once again a place for cultural meetings.”
Likewise, SætreI recognized that the concert “symbolizes what true cultural exchanges are.”
“Today an Argentine orchestra will play the magnificent music of Norwegian composers. “This is a genuine cultural exchange that we hope to continue strengthening through parliamentary collaboration beneficial for both countries,” said the ambassador.
Present were the director of Parliamentary Diplomacy and International Cooperation of the Lower House, Luciana Termineand the director of Culture of Deputies, Andrea Barbieriamong other guests.
